The Stapelia gigantea is a fascinating plant. It looks like a cactus, but puts forth a spectacular flower with stripes and lots of fuzzy hair. Unfortunately, it also puts out a horrible odor it uses to attract pollinators. It basically smells like a cross between a dead cigar and a dead animal!
